Dear Mum
I picked this green candle to mark the planting of 1000 daffodils in your memory on the city walls of York. You loved the daffodils, and next spring you will be part of them - people will look at them and be happy, and somehow I hope that you will know and your spirit will be happy too. When I see your daffodils I will smile and remember the times when we were all happy here together.
